In a bid to downsize, this couple relocated to a unit in the Mackay Marina

Lauren Taylor Design was approached to design a new wall unit to incorporate the TV and audio visual equipment as well as plenty of cupboards and drawers for storage. 

Sleek cupboard doors with no handles were finished in a gloss acrylic and the timber shelves and drawers in a dark reddish brown timber veneer. The wall behind was painted in a dark mocha colour to provide a contrasting background.

"I first met Lauren about 4 years ago when she styled my northern beaches home for professional photos in preparation for sale. Lauren did a great job, going out of her way to ensure I was happy with the result, and I knew I would call her again when I required the services ofabuilt design professional.

After downsizing from a large family home o a marina view apartment, it quickly became evident I needed more structure and storage to fully appreciate the move. I contacted Lauren to design full length built-in wall storage units and media spaces. Her understanding of my needs and vision was clear from the initial consultation, and the end result was perfect for the space. "
